Hardback book printing: a sustainable choice

Choosing a hardback book is the most sustainable choice when having a book printed. This is because our hardback books are made of 135 g/m2 silk mc pasted on 2.5 mm greyboard. The books have a sturdy cover that protects against wear and tear and damage. As a result, they generally last longer than paperback books.

Want to make it even more sustainable? Then choose Bio Top 3® natural material for the inner pages. This paper type is made from recycled material that is chlorine-free bleached and contains no optical brighteners. An extra benefit: the natural white shade of this paper type is easy on the eyes and therefore pleasant to read.

Going for that 90 g/m2 extra-thick Roman paper? Then you are going for a thicker feel, improved print results, a professional look and a long life. The extra thickening makes it feel luxurious and sturdy.

We offer Silk MC in 135 g/m2, 150 g/m2 and 170 g/m2. This paper type is a good choice if you want to go for good print quality, good readability, a premium look and low paper ageing. The coated finish ensures you get a sharp print with vibrant colours and crisp text.

The hv offset material is a good choice if you want high print quality where the text and images are sharp and clear. This paper has good opacity, so the ink does not show through on the other side of the paper.

Finally, you can go for satin-finished MC. Satin-finished MC has a smooth and even coating. As a result, text and images become sharp and clear on the paper. Also, the smooth surface of the paper ensures that the ink is well retained on the paper. This makes colours come out vividly and have deep contrasts.
