Sustainable printing from Print.com

The range of sustainable printing at Print.com is constantly expanding. We offer sustainable options for many items. You can recognise these options by the green icons (leaves) when configuring your product. Recycled paper is the greenest choice. At Print.com, you will find recycled paper from Paperwise®, RecyStar®, Rebello®, Muskat® Brun, and BalancePure®, among others.

Our sustainable materials

In our ordering app, you will find a wide selection of sustainable materials and printed matter. Our newest material is seed paper. Our seed paper consists of 200gsm Forget-me-not paper, 200gsm Flower Mix paper, 200gsm Garden Herbs paper, 200gsm Poppy paper, 200gsm Meadow Mix paper, 240gsm Meadow Mix paper, or 300gsm Meadow Mix paper.

Eco banners feature a PVC-free frontlit, making it environmentally friendly. This weather-resistant material is often used outdoors for short-term, large-scale advertising displays and can be printed on one side only.

RPET is recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the RPET material made from previously used PET plastic. RPET is obtained by melting existing recycled plastic into the new material: RPET.

Growing paper cards

One of the sustainable choices is our seed paper cards. These are cards made from artisanal, handmade paper. This recycled paper composts in the soil, allowing the seeds inside the paper to germinate. You determine the size of these cards yourself. Therefore, you can use this paper for cards, flyers, business cards, and more.

Sustainable packaging material

Print.com is also the right place for sustainable packaging materials and sustainable printing. In our ordering app, you will find sustainable shipping bags, wine bags, takeaway bags, jute bags, and sustainable cotton bags. The paper products are made from recycled kraft paper. With its slightly rough surface and excellent writability, recycled kraft paper is a good choice. This uncoated HVO quality is available in kraft, white, and black. This material has a natural matte appearance, is 100% recyclable, and is also scratch-resistant in kraft or white. Furthermore, these recycled shipping bags are perfect for webshop shipments.

The sustainable bags you can find in the ordering app are:

The bags made from Fairtrade® and GOTS cotton have an attached label on one side with the Fairtrade® logo on one side and the GOTS logo on the other. This makes it clearly visible that the product is made from a fair and sustainable material. The other recycled cotton bags consist of 95% recycled cotton and 5% polyester.

A jute bag is made from natural fibers. After cotton, jute is the most widely used natural fiber and perfect for use as sustainable printing. Few steps are required to produce jute. For instance, no fertilizer or other additives are needed, and the plant can be harvested after just three or four months. Jute is a plant-based fiber that is spun into strong threads. Because jute can be produced easily and sustainably and is strong, it is a very popular fabric to use. The coarseness of the jute is 15×14 PSI.

Other sustainable products

In addition to cards and packaging materials, our sustainable printing services include re-boards, dispa, reusable cups, and recycled pens. Re-board® is a 100% recyclable, lightweight honeycomb board patented in Sweden that can be contour cut. Dispa is an environmentally friendly, fully recyclable sheet material made from FSC®-certified paper.

Our sustainable cups have just arrived in the ordering app. With our high-quality printing technology and creative possibilities, you can have your company logo, brand message, or personal design (or that of your client) printed on our reusable cups.

The recycled pens are made from recycled PET and recycled cardboard. This makes these pens a sustainable choice. The recycled PET pens are available in white, black, and grey. The recycled cardboard pens are available in red, white, orange, dark green, dark blue, and black. Both pens can be printed in 4/0 full colour and 4/4 full colour and can be ordered from 50 pieces.
