Better visibility in Studio

Not sure how your design will turn out in print? You can now toggle the artboard transparency in Studio. Especially useful when working with white elements on colored products, you’ll instantly see if everything looks right.

Select up to 25 shipping addresses

Working with multiple delivery addresses? You can now select up to 25 at once. This keeps things clear and prevents errors that force you to start over.

We’ve added a new currency: the Polish złoty. Useful for productions in Poland and for anyone ordering there.

Working from Poland? You can now pay in your local currency. Just makes things a bit more straightforward.

Accessory stock now visible

You can now see the stock status of accessories on product pages. Handy when you need to move fast.

Running low or out of stock? You’ll spot it right away and can easily switch to an alternative. We’re rolling this update out step by step per accessory, so you’ll start seeing it more and more.

Membership coupons, now in your account

Good news for members: your coupon codes are now available directly in your membership overview.

No more separate lists—everything is neatly in one place. Used a code? We’ll strike it through automatically, so you instantly see what’s still available and avoid trying the same code twice.

Accessories with dynamic size

Completing your order just got a whole lot easier. You can now add accessories that automatically match the size of your product. No more double-checking dimensions or wondering if everything will fit, it simply works.

Think of:

  • Banners with matching banner frames
  • Textile frames with perfectly fitted fabric

This way, you create a complete, ready-to-use product in one go. It saves time, prevents mistakes, and strengthens the final result.

Improved layout for (ultra)wide screens


The web app has been optimized for (extra) wide screens. This allows users to view more products in the catalogue at once and see more product options at a glance.

Membership slide-out

To make your membership progress more visible, you can now find this information in a handy slide-out. You can easily open it from the dashboard or via the user menu.

Collect + Ride

In the checkout, you’ll now see more information about Collect + Ride for products that support it. This helps new customers quickly understand the benefits and makes it easier to start using the service.

Nieuwe features 🚀

Show most reliable carrier on top

When showing a shortlist list of carriers, the most reliable carrier is now shown on top (instead of the lowest price).

Prevent selecting addresses from multiple countries

Customers are now unable to select shipping addresses from multiple countries. Previously, this was possible but it resulted in an error after confirmation, which causes frustration.

Important bugfix: approving designs

Approved designs are not removed any longer when changing the product configuraiton.
Previously, any product change could regenerate the printjob which would then require a new design approval. This was one of the biggest frustrations of our customers.

App menu update

The app menu is now strategically divided in three groups (Buy, Manage, Sell) to improve usability and to promote the functionality of our app for new users and leads.

High quality studio previews

The quality of preview images in the Studio has been improved. Especially for small products such as business cards the difference is significant.

Slide-out for import charges

The message to inform customers about import charges has been moved to a slide-out component. The slide-out allows more detailed information to explain why export shipments can lead to additional fees.

Compare Copies & Printing methods

Customers can now quickly compare copies and printing methods in a table view. It also gives a detailed explanation about the selected printing method.

Sticker Picker

Not sure which sticker best fits your application? The Sticker Picker helps you find the right match. Through a smart chat, you get tailored advice and quickly discover the perfect sticker for your project. You can easily open it from the sticker category or directly from the product page.

Shipping to multiple addresses 🚚

Shipping to multiple addresses has been improved. With a clear, dedicated button, you can now switch more easily to multi-address selection. This lets you arrange delivery to different addresses in one go, without having to search.

Recommended deal 💯

The product pages now highlights when a higher number of copies has a lower price than the current selection. This should help customers to recognize and select more efficient options.

Update billing address for finalized invoices 🧾

Customers are now able to change the billing address on their invoices. After the change, the original invoice will be credited, and a new invoice will be created using the new address.

This self-service feature helps customers to make changes immediately. In addition, this will save our finance team about 32 hours per week.

Studio toolbar 🎨

The user experience of the image toolbar in the Studio was updated with the following changes:

✅ The toolbar is always visible, regardless of the image position

✅ Rearranged layout and small visual improvements

For promotional and textile product, we can now add stock information. This helps to manage expectations for customers and prevents communication about insufficient stock.

Slide-out design update 🌟

Our slide-out component has been visually updated for a more modern look. The component is currently used for changing addresses, carriers and shipping options, but will be used more widely after the checkout mission has finished. 

1gb file uploads 📈

The recently updated file processing system is able to handle large file uploads, which is a much anticipated feature for our customers. This week, the maximum file size had been increased from 500mb to 1gb. If everything goes well, we can experiment with a higher limit.

Shopping cart list update 🛒

The shopping cart list has been visually updated for your convenience.

Product summary styling

The product summary is updated to make sure all properties and options are visible in their full length.

Go back for configuration helper 🔙

In rare cases, the configuration helper can’t find any available option. The launch of the copies & printing methods mission helps to prevent this, but for other edge cases a Go Back button was added to improve usability.

Upload component redesign 🔃

The separate upload and processing statuses have been combined into a single, simplified interaction, in which the user can see both a determinate and indeterminate state of their file status.

Price added to packing information 🪙

The packing information now includes the shipping price for each item. This helps customers to understand how shipping prices and combined shipments are calculated.

Invoice page design fixes 🧾

The invoice overview has been updated to match our current design system and to improve the view for small devices. It contains several visual improvements to achieve this.

Update custom presets

Our app now supports updating a preset product configuration. This helps customers to correct mistakes, and makes it more convenient to manage presets for third party applications such as Shopify

Country selector default outside NL and BE

The country selector in which customers can select their own production location has been made the default option outside the Netherlands and Belgium.

New PDF service fully implemented

Over the last months, we have been implementing a new PDF service that processes uploaded files. The new service improves performance, stability and is easier to build new feature for. In short: the average time to process a PDF document went down with 73% (from 25s to 7s).

Export notice for non EU/UK shipments ⚠️

We added a warning for orders that are shipped to countries that are not part of the EU or UK. Customs might hold these shipments and charge recipients import tariffs before receiving the shipment. 

Removal landscape/portrait switch 🗑️

To improve file handling performance and prevent confusion for customers, we decided to remove function to switch between landscape and portrait orientation in the Studio. 

Faster PDF processing 🚀

This weekend, we implemented changes to our PDF service that makes the processing of documents larger than 10MB up to 66% faster. 

We have additional ideas for further improvements that we will explore over the next weeks. After that, we expect to be able to increase the maximum upload size and the maximum number of designs per order.

Go to another project 🔀

After adding a new product to a project, customers can now quickly switch easy to another project in their account. This makes adding a product more convenient.  

Cart item notification 🔔

Customers are now informed about automatic changes to items in their shopping cart when:

  • The product is no longer available
  • A coupon is applied
  • A deadline passed and the delivery date changes
  • The carrier is unavailable and is updated
  • The price of a product changed

Dashboard launch 🖥️

We started rolling out our new app dashboard to customers. The new dashboard should help new customers to get started and improves productivity for power users. The new dashboard features:

  • Order and revenue statistics
  • Recent orders
  • Recently shipped products
  • Projects (if available)

Product summary launch 📝

The new product summary has started rolling out to customers. The feature helps you to:

  • Summarize the product configuration
  • Quickly jump to an option to configure

Jump to the earliest date

Previously, the earliest available production date wasn’t always selectable right away. Now, you can instantly view and choose the earliest delivery date.

Multiple studio overlays 📐

From now on, the studio supports overlays across multiple pages. These overlays act as a visual guide for customers, file checkers, and product engineers.

Manage your colleagues’ rights yourself 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

You can now easily give admin rights to colleagues or switch them back to user rights. With an admin account you can:

  • set your colleagues’ roles (admin or user)
  • remove users

By default, every new colleague starts with user rights. This way, you stay in control and prevent misuse.

New app lay-out 🧑‍🎨

The app has been updated with a cleaner and more structured layout, and makes it feel more like an app. The update features:

  • A centred and more visible search bar
  • Improved consistency and responsiveness for tablets and mobile devices for all pages  
  • Improved animation of the menu toggle

Rolling out the new PDF service 🆕

This week, a new system has been introduced to simplify and improve processing PDF documents.

Searching for themes 🔍

Themes in our catalogue are now added to search results. This makes it easier to find products for a specific theme.

Upload or Order deadline 🕒

Orders that are unprinted now show ‘Order before…’ instead of ‘Upload before…’ to prevent confusion for customers. 

Local production in the United Kingdom 🚚

Customers can now select the United Kingdom as a production region for their products. For deliveries in the UK, this means faster, cheaper and more reliable deliveries, which is the most anticipated change to our proposition.

Contacts moved to the user menu 🏃‍➡️

The contact page is moved to the user menu, to free up space in the main navigation. That space will be used later to introduce a secret project.

Launch of the product catalogue

We launched the new product catalogue for all customers. This includes:

  • Lightning fast browsing
  • Convenient breadcrumb navigation
  • Improved photography for categories
  • Streamlined product categorization
  • Improved visual hierarchy between categories, themes and products.

User avatar integration 👤

Users can now see the avatars of their colleagues. We can use this to personalize orders, projects and dashboards.

New product summary 🆕

We visually cleaned up the summary component on the product pages (selectors). All buttons are now moved to the right and migrated to reusable and consistent components. 

Updated search results page 🔎

The search results page is updated to match the new product catalogue. The breadcrumbs on top will help customers to navigate to the catalogue quickly.

Speed upgrades 🏃🏼‍➡️

Our team discovered and implemented substantial improvements to our systems. Adding more CPU and RAM to specific Lambda services resulted in the following:

  • Retrieving delivery dates is about 52% faster
  • Placing an order is about 49% faster
  • Opening an order in Keen is about 72% faster
  • Shipping a product in Eager is about 32% faster

Since we ship thousands of orders per week and each time is about 2 seconds faster, this is literally saving hours of work.

Launch of CO2e score💚

App users can now see the amount of CO2 equivalents that is produced for the entire lifecycle of a product. They can use the score to find sustainable alternatives.

Breadcrumbs product pages 🍞

Product pages now show breadcrumbs that allow customers to quickly navigate back to the catalogue. After the launch of the new catalogue, the breadcrumbs will include subcategories as well.

Help with incompatible shipping addresses 📦

The product page now notifies and helps users when adding a product to a cart that is shipped to a different country. The slide-in component helps to select a compatible address or to create a new cart. 

Updated user menu 🎨

The design of the user menu has been updated to match the design system, improving the user experience through consistency and predictability. 

Presets moved to user menu ➡️

To make room for a catalogue redesign, the list of personal presets are now moved to the user menu. The presets contain a list of product configurations that were saved by the user.

New features 🚀

Launching the CO₂e score 🍃

We launched our CO₂e score for a select group of beta customers, which we’ll expand to all users later. The score displays the amount of CO₂ equivalents that are released in the lifecycle of a product, including material production, printing and recycling.

Customers can use this to compare materials on sustainability and use the score in calculating their own carbon footprint. This new feature contributes to our sustainability goals, and helps to attract a new group of customers who want to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. 

UX improvement for extra addresses 📍

The interaction for shipping to multiple addresses has been improved. Customers can now quickly select multiple contacts from their address list. The changes also streamlined the visual design of products in the checkout and the order detail pages.

Import contacts by CSV 📇

Users can now import contacts in their app using a CSV template. This makes it easier for new users to start using our app, and it makes it easier to ship products to multiple addresses for companies with multiple locations.

Error message improvements ⚠️

We improved tracking errors and removed irrelevant messages for users. This should drastically reduce the amount of errors shown to customers. The next weeks, we’ll monitor the most frequent errors and make changes to prevent them.

User avatar implementation 👤

Users can now see their avatar appear in the top navigation and user menu. Over the next weeks, we’ll add the avatars to more relevant places. This should help and encourage collaboration between colleagues.

Multi currency support for creating quotes 💱

Customers can now create quotes for their clients in their own currency. This was previously limited to Euros only.

Complete payment button in order overview 💳

Orders that require an upfront payment will now show a payment button in the order overview. This makes it easier for customers to complete their payment.

The cart items have been visually updated. The most important change is that the delivery date and carrier selection is now merged in a single component.

Vat workaround for IT and BE freelancers 🧾

The vat numbers of Belgian and Italian freelancers are not registered our EU validation tool. We’ve added an option to skip the validation, so freelancers can register for an account.

Coupons support multi currency 🎟️

In addition to coupons for discounts in percentages, customers can now use fixed amount coupons in their own currency.

Studio display of bleeds and safety margin 🐕‍🦺

The studio now features a permanent label indicating the bleed, and the safety margin has been updated to green. These changes make it easier for you to recognize and understand the bleed, safety margin, and page boundaries.

Inform customers about missing vat number📣

A warning message now appears if you haven’t entered a VAT number in your billing address. This helps prevent issues with invoices and reduces the need to contact us for corrections.

Rest password interaction🔒

When changing your password in My Account, you’ll now see the password requirements. Each requirement is clearly checked and highlighted as you meet it.

Help texts for vat numbers ℹ️

The app now includes an explanation about VAT numbers, helping you understand how validation works and how to resolve any issues.

Notification dates 🔔

Notifications in the web app now display their creation date. This makes it easier for you to identify which notifications are relevant.

Accessories included in shared JSON ℹ️

Brand portals like Marvia and Spicelab use the JSON share function to add a product configuration to their apps. This feature has been updated to include accessories as well.

A new design for our white label Track & Trace pages has been launched this week, which Print.com customers can share with their clients. The updated page supports multiple shipments, a custom logo, distilled brand colours and previews of the uploaded product designs.  

Order confirmation page update📃

The order confirmation page has been updated visually. The redesigned page now features an order summary with payment details, and a product carrousel that highlights new products.

New language added: Spanish 🇪🇸

Our Spanish colleague Thomas translated our app and all related content to Spanish. From now on, you can select it as a language in the app.

Contact list update 🔍

You can now search by company name in your contact lists. In addition, the list now supports thousands of contacts.
