Get your Forex sheets printed at Print.com

In our ordering app, you will find white and black Forex® sheets for printing. Forex® is a foamed PVC plate with 2 hard top layers. The material is lightweight and therefore suitable for many purposes. Despite the hard foamed core and hard top layers, the material is reasonably flexible. Forex® can be used both indoors and outdoors.

For white boards, choose from 1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm or 10 mm thickness. Are you going for a black Forex® sheet for printing? Then it is only available in 5 mm thickness.

The different printing options for Forex boards

In our web app, choose to print your print directly onto the Forex sheet or have it stuck to the sheet with a vinyl sticker.

Printing directly on the Forex sheet

When printing the Forex plate directly, you choose from the following print options:

4/0 Full colour
4/4 Full colour
5/0 Full colour + 200% white
5/5 Full colour + white

For the white plates, you can choose between 4/0 full colour or 4/4 full colour. For the black plates, you can choose 5/0 full colour + 200% white or 5/5 full colour + white.

At 5/0 full colour + 200%, a layer of full colour is printed on the material, with two layers of white print underneath. At 5/5 full colour + white, a white layer is first printed on the material as an underlayer for printing.

Vinyl sticker pasted on the plate

In 4/0 and 4/4 full colour (sticker to plate), stickers are first printed which are made on the plate. The colours on a sticker are more powerful than those printed directly on the sheet. The advantage of a sticker is that you can also laminate it, protecting the print longer against UV radiation and scratches. For the laminate, you can choose from:

Oraguard® 215 (polymer glossy)
Oraguard® 215 (polymer matt)

Finishing Forex sheets for printing

For finishing your printed Forex sheet, you can choose from four different cutting techniques in our ordering app to give the material the desired shape:

Clean cut
Contour cutting (1 simple shape)
Contour cutting (1 complex shape)
Contour cutting (Up to 5 shapes)

With clean-cutting, the edges of the sheet are cut off straight. You do not need to specify a contour line in the file for this. This technique is ideal for standard shapes where the printed Forex sheet is used as a whole, e.g. for advertising panels.

Do you opt for contour cutting in one simple shape? Then the sheet is cut into a specific, simple shape. Think for example of a circle or a square. The material is then finished on the basis of the contour line in the supplied file. The supplied file will then contain one closed contour line with a maximum of four (rounded) corners.

Contour cutting to one complex shape involves cutting the printed Forex sheet into a detailed and unique shape. This works perfectly for a logo or a letter, for example. With this finish, the supplied file contains one closed contour line containing one or more cut-outs.

Finally, contour cutting to up to five shapes makes it possible to cut multiple, different shapes from a single sheet. Here, you can supply files with up to five contour lines, so you can easily order products consisting of multiple parts. Does your design include more than five contour lines?
