Dibond is a versatile material that you come across everywhere. From sleek billboards to trade fair stands that grab everyone’s attention. At Print.com, you will find different types of Dibond to print in full colour with your own design or that of your customer. It is a light and strong material that makes photographers, designers and artists love it for their prints and artwork. You will also find it in interiors and shops.

Dibond materials for printing

Dibond consists of two aluminium sheets with a hard plastic core in between. This sturdy, weather-resistant material lasts for five years. In our ordering app, you have a choice of five types of Dibond to print on:

3mm Dibond Budget
3mm Dibond Dilite
3mm Dibond brushed aluminium horizontal
3mm Dibond brushed aluminium vertical
6mm Dibond Budget

3 mm Dibond Budget and 6 mm Dibond Budget are the budget variants of Dibond. The 3 mm Dibond Dilite variant is lighter than all other Dibond materials. 3 mm Dibond brushed aluminium (horizontal or vertical) has a brushed top layer with an anthracite glossy look. This is also called butler finish or brushed. This structure remains visible after printing and gives the print a unique look.

Protective layers of Dibond sheets

To protect your Dibond board, you can choose a protective coating. In our order app, you can choose from five different protective coatings:

UV coating (glossy)
UV coating (matt)
Oraguard 215 (polymer glossy)
Oraguard 215 (polymer matt)
Prime whiteboard laminate (polymer glossy)

Do you choose a gloss or matt UV coating? This coating is applied to the sheet material after printing and provides additional protection against blemishes, discolouration, dirt and moisture. The print with a glossy UV coating has a striking glossy appearance and makes colours and images appear powerful. The print with a matt UV coating does not shine and is therefore very popular in an interior application.

Oraguard 215 in polymer gloss and matt are foils suitable for flat and slightly curved substrates. This finish can be used both indoors and outdoors.
