Printed beach flags are one of the simplest ways to get your message noticed. They’re light, easy to take with you, and just as useful at an event as they are on the high street, so passers-by see whatever you’re promoting. In our trade-only web app, you can order printed beach flags in six different shapes, including square and teardrop flags, using your own design or your customer’s!

Six types of printed beach flags

In our web app, you’ll find six different types of printed beach flags:

The straight, slanted, concave and round beach flags come in S (67 x 210 cm), M (68 x 315 cm) and L (75 x 440 cm). The square flag, meanwhile, comes in S (75 x 184 cm), M (75 x 295 cm) and L (75 x 370 cm), while the teardrop flag comes in S (71 x 196 cm) and M (87 x 308.5 cm)

Materials for printing beach flags

First, there are two materials to choose from: 110 g/m² Flag and 115 g/m² Longlife. To pick the right one, think about where the flag will be and how long you need it to last. The weather matters too, of course.

Both are 100% polyester with a maximum print width of 316 cm. Also, only around 5 to 10% of the light shines through, so your print looks good from both sides. The main differences are how long they last and how the edges are finished. Flag has hemmed edges and lasts around 3 to 4 months. Longlife, on the other hand, lasts a little longer, at around 3 to 5 months. It’s extra strong because of its special hole structure, which doesn’t fray as quickly, so the edges don’t need hemming.

Will your flag be going outside in the ever-changing weather? Then Longlife is the better choice. Flag, however, works well indoors or at shorter events!

Fixing beach flags

You can also choose from 10 different fittings, and the right one depends on where your printed beach flag is going:

Fixing into the ground

First up, if you can fix your beach flag into the ground, there are two options, and both come with a rotator. A ground stake, for example, is a simple, portable way to hold your beach flag in place temporarily. If you need it to stay put for longer, an auger drills deeper and gives you a firmer hold.

Standing on the ground

Can’t fix your flag into the ground? There are five options that sit on top of it. First, a cross-foot base with a rotator is a simple support, and there’s also a foldable version that’s easy to fold up and carry.

If you need something sturdier, go for a footplate or a parasol base. The footplate, for instance, is a heavy-duty option! The parasol base is a good choice when you don’t have a solid surface, because its large, high base keeps the flag stable. Finally, there’s the water bag. Once it’s filled, the weight of the water helps keep your flag steady.

Fixing the beach flag to the wall

If the flag can’t go in or on the ground, you can attach it to a wall instead. There are three types of wall fixing, and each gives a different look.

Want your flag at eye level and fully visible, without it standing out too much from a distance? The wall holder that sits parallel to the wall is the one to go for, and it works both indoors and outdoors. The wall bracket that angles upwards is more eye-catching, though, and can be seen from further away. That angle also draws attention and curiosity from passers-by, which makes it better suited to outdoor use.

Lastly, there’s the wall bracket at right angles to the wall. It’s an unusual way to show off a flag, so it’s the one most likely to get you noticed!
